This Certified Refurbished Roomba Is Under $200 on Amazon Today

Amazon has recently had a rash of vacuum deals, but if you haven’t bitten yet, today is a great day to do so. That’s because the Roomba 650 is currently only $190, making it a great deal on an iconic vacuum.

One of the reasons it’s so cheap? It’s a certified refurbished model, meaning it looks like new but has been previously used. While refurbished appliances are common on Amazon (and a great way to get a deal on big-ticket items), that can mean a variety of different things. In this case, the Roomba has been refurbished by iRobot, the manufacturer, has a 90-day warranty, and comes with all original parts.

While the 650 is an older model, it has many great features like the ability to automatically re-dock and charge, an edge-sweeper brush, and the ability to schedule cleanings. It can also automatically avoids stairs and other ledges, and navigates around your entire space (and can even sense the difference between carpet and hard floors).

The biggest thing that it can’t do is be started remotely from an app or through a Smart Home device like Alexa. Newer models have also gotten more powerful motors. However, if you use your Roomba regularly (and still use a traditional vacuum to deep-clean on occasion), you might not notice a huge difference. Besides, at the current sale price, you might find the trade-off is worth it.
