There’s a Whole Frank Lloyd Wright Home Collection, and You Can Shop It On Amazon
Around the world, the legacy of renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright remains visible by way of the various structures he designed, including various homes that have recently gone up for sale and even some residences styled after his vision. Over the past year, we’ve been able to shop furniture designed (and even owned!) by FLW, and even give our homes a signature architectural scent thanks to a line of Wright-inspired candles. Luckily for those of us who continue to be inspired by his design aesthetic, the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation has major plans to expand the brand into the lifestyle arena.
“This is the year we are really looking to build on the accomplishments of the past three years and focus on making this step-change to increase the positive impact on our community through Wright’s ideas, nationally and internationally” said FLW Foundation president and CEO Stuart Graff said. “It’s a good, healthy moment to sit back and be thoughtful and deliberate about the impact that we want to have on the world.”
Right now, the foundation is hashing out plans to roll out furniture, home goods and items to sell at retail stores as early as 2020, Curbed reports. But thanks to a newly expanded licensing division, there’s already an entire collection of FLW home goods currently available for sale on Amazon. Among the items are tabletop sculptures, wine glasses, pen/pencil holders, napkin sets, wall decor and more that remind us of just how prolific Wright’s architectural contributions still are.
So once we’ve all transformed our homes into Wright-esque replicas, what more can we look forward to from the foundation? There are plans to bring Wright’s teachings to K-12 students across the country, plus a lineup of more creative collaborations that will introduce his work to new audiences. Finally, fans of Wright’s work can expect to see an increased focus on preserving both Taliesin locations.
