There are a lot of tools out there that can improve our homes and lives—fancy, expensive tools that use the best of modern technology to make things faster, easier, and more efficient. But we humans are simple beings. All we really want, according to Amazon, is budget-friendly bedding and cereal on the go, and maybe an organized utility closet.

That’s right: Amazon has a section that lists the products people add the most often to registries and wish lists across all categories—and the results are definitely interesting. We took a look at the top home products and saw a nice mix of popular home necessities, as well as some surprises.
