You’ll likely find the best savings of the year on Amazon devices, including Echo & Alexa devices, Kindles, Fire Tablets, and Fire Sticks. And it’s not all big names and tech—last year we also saw deals on Amazon Handmade products, as well as Whole Foods groceries. New this year is an initiative supporting small businesses: From now until Oct. 12, spending $10 on Handmade products will get you a $10 credit to spend on Prime Day.

It’s true: You need to be an Amazon Prime member to score these deals. Aside from your good ol’ browser, you can also ask your Alexa-enabled device to tell you about the best deals. It’s also a good idea to download the Amazon app—previous years have seen app-exclusive deals and sneak peeks.
