What’s groovy, multi-purpose, and looks more like modern art than a standard catch-all for your bits and bobs? This side table that is currently popping off on TikTok (thanks to user @annako.xo), and it’s not your standard Amazon piece.

Made by Umbra, the Magino is a stool/side table that comes equipped with magazine storage (also perfect for your vinyl record collection). Clear acrylic furniture is always in style, and the soft curves of this piece will fit in any space the word “groovy” applies to.

This stool is actually an award-winning design. According to the Amazon listing, the piece was designed by Karim Rashid, who won a Housewares Design Award in 2006 for the stool/table combo.

The Umbra Store also sells a smaller version of this already-compact table though it’s currently unavailable. However, sitting at just 16.5” by 17” by 11.5”, the original Umbra Magino will fit seamlessly into a variety of small spaces (and nearly blend in thanks to the clear acrylic finish). One Amazon customer wrote, “I have a small apartment and the clear makes it appear to take up less room.”
