Amazon’s Two New Furniture Lines Focus on Small Spaces

Jump for interior design joy, because Amazon recently introduced two of its own affordable and stylish in-house furniture brands.

The retailer recently announced the arrival of Rivet, a mid-century modern inspired line, and Stone & Beam, which leans more rustic and modern farmhouse.

Most of the furniture is available on Prime (but sadly, not two-day delivery), so if you find yourself hating your coffee table a week before your guests arrive for Thanksgiving, you can upgrade with ease.

We’re big proponents of online sofa shopping, and both of the new lines offer a variety of options ranging from a modern loveseat for $649 from Rivet to a navy tufted Chesterfield for $1,099 from the Stone & Beam line. The Rivet line, which has a West Elm vibe, has a dedicated section highlighting the pieces that work especially well in small spaces. Both lines offer up affordable rugs, art and lighting.

Amazon spokesperson Ayesha Harper explained in Furniture Today that the two brands are designed to meet the wants of two of their biggest customer groups.

Rivet and Stone & Beam feature furniture and decor to serve the needs and style aesthetic of different customer segments. Millennials searching for the perfect Mid-Century Modern sectional for their apartment will find it from Rivet, and families looking for comfy and durable down-filled sofas with performance fabrics will find relevant selection from Stone & Beam.

Along with Prime delivery, Amazon offers 30-day returns, three year limited-warranty for Stone & Beam items and one-year warranty on Rivet items as well as free swatches.
