Fall weather always makes us want to grab a ball of yarn and make something, and right now we are obsessed with Amigurumi, the Japanese art of achingly cute crocheted dolls (from ami, meaning crocheted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll).
We think that any child's room could benefit from a little dose of Amigurumi. A quick Etsy search turned up loads of adorable options, but lovers of cuteness who want to take matters into their own hands can find plenty of adorable patterns in books and online. Be sure to check out Ana Paula Rimoli, whose blog, Etsy shop, and books, Amigurumi World: Seriously Cute Crochet and Amigurumi Two! Crocheted Toys for Me and You and Baby Too, and are filled with outrageously cute patterns.
