When you see a travel flash sale, the world suddenly becomes full of possibilities—that nearby (or faraway) trip no longer feels out of reach. If you’re itching for that chance, brace yourself: Amtrak just announced a buy one, get one free deal that will get you (and a friend) to that next destination for cheap.

Amtrak announced this morning that from now until January 12, 2020, travelers can buy a BOGO deal to major cities around the U.S. You can snag a ticket for trips starting on February 1, 2020, through June 12, 2020, in case you need an incentive to get you through the winter months.

If you’re in New York, NY, head to Chicago, IL ($112 for a one way ticket in coach) or Charleston, SC ($138). From Washington D.C., you can go down to Orlando, FL ($139). Those based in Atlanta, GA, can travel to New Orleans, IL ($82), Chicagoans have options to New Orleans ($138) and Memphis, TN ($111), and those departing from San Antonio, TX can head to New Orleans ($82).

For those based on the west coast, here are your options: if you’re departing from Seattle, WA, you can head to Oakland, CA ($114). From Los Angeles, CA, book a trip to Albuquerque, NM ($86), and those in Emeryville, CA, can travel to Salt Lake City, UT ($105). Finally, those in Portland, OR, are able to head to Los Angeles ($123).

Like mentioned above, this is a BOGO sale, so the deal allows you to bring a travel companion along for free. So slash each ticket price in half, and you can essentially make your trip 50% off for you and a friend.

All the prices above are for coach seats, but you can also upgrade to a roomette or bedroom with the BOGO deal as well. These two upgrades include complimentary meals on most routes as well as seats by day and beds by night

For all the additional details, head to Amtrak’s website here. Now text your friends and get the ball rolling—you only have until the end of this week to jump on this deal.
