Name: Rachelle Project: Snuggie Wrap Blanket

We like the name of this one - definitely snuggie. Check out details after the jump...

Explain how Amy Butler inspired this entry:
I used the Snuggie blanket pattern in the Little Stitches book for this project. Everytime I use an Amy Butler pattern, I am always inspired by the new things I learned to create high-quality end product

How did you make your project and what items did you use?
Only the best materials and immaculate sewing techniques are used in these patterns. When following an Amy Butler pattern, I use my current sewing skills and am also taught - through following the instructions and techniques- new skills, that I am able to apply to other sewing projects. I feel like through this book and other patterns, I have Amy Butler as a sewing instructor sitting next to me- teaching me new techniques.

This pattern really appealed to me because it is no ordinary blanket- and looks so warm since my baby is due in the winter.

I gathered all the materials listed as needed for this pattern which included cotton fabric, fleece, and thread- along with the Amy Butler Little Stitches book- all ordered from
I followed the instructs to a "T" and made the 0-3 month size, unfortunately I won't have a little model for this blanket for 2 more months, when my little boy is due to be born.
