Sometimes you see photos of a home and it stops you in your tracks because it a space so unique and beautiful; truly the product of a single vision. We had that reaction to the home of filmmaker and photo stylist Jeffrey Moss. The full-on embrace of so many small, layered images decorating his walls creates a wallpaper-like effect, with the added bonus of it being completely unique and personal to the collector/creator.
The feature by Lisa Cregan in the current Chicago Home + Garden is going into our "keeper" file for pure inspiration. The home is a duplex in Pilsen and it is one of the best examples of vintage style done in a thoroughly modern way, through the eye of a story teller (these photos are not chosen nor displayed at random), an enthusiast and most definitely, an artist.
