An Organized Outdoor Summer Station

An Organized Outdoor Summer Station

Summertime, and the living is messy. While the lazy days of summer are something we all look forward to, getting lazy when it comes to storing an active family's summer accoutrements can lead to chaos before the corn is knee high. This organizing station, made from an old changing table and various containers, is just the ticket to keep things orderly until the school bell rings in September.

We enjoy seeing novel uses for discarded furniture, and while a changing table in the garage would usually give us pause, in this instance it makes great sense. Tracie at Cleverly Inspired rescued the changing table from the side of the road last year. This year she added the storage buckets and baskets. Together they make a perfect place for all of summer's necessities, from towels to sunscreen, conveniently located right near the entrance to the house.

Everything is handsomely labeled, giving the project a unified and finished look. A summer station like this will truly make summertime a little more easy. Nicely done, Tracie.
