Angela Kinsey Showed Off Her Favorite Invention For Short People, and It’s Only $12

Angela Kinsey of “The Office” just made so many lightbulbs go off in her followers’ heads. Kinsey shared her new favorite invention for short people, and it’s a no brainer. She calls it a “blinds hook grabby thingy,” and TBH, that’s pretty much exactly what it is. It solves the problem for when the window blinds roll up too far and out of reach for the shorter population, and yeah, she’s right — it’s a genius tool that everyone should have.

“Whoever invented this blinds hook grabbing thingy gets a big ol’ hug from this short gal!” Kinsey captioned an Instagram video in which Kinsey demonstrates how to use the blinds hook. She tagged the video #ShortPeopleProblems, but she should have used the tag #ShortPeopleProblemsSOLVED.

What’s even better than the invention itself is that a blinds hook is available on Amazon for just $11.99. And Kinsey isn’t the only person who loves this thing. In a review titled “Great for short people!” one Amazon reviewer wrote, “I use this all the time to move my hanging plants around. Works perfectly and the price is right!” So…it’s not just for blinds, but can be used to grab anything just out of reach. Brilliant.

Or, of course, rather than use this primo tool, you could “just call your husband,” as Kinsey’s husband Josh Snyder commented on her post. “I did A LOT and then he smartly bought me this thingy!” Kinsey wrote back. 

Smart, indeed! The window blinds are no longer the enemy of the petite, and that is definitely something to do a little Kinsey-inspired dance about.
