Angela Kinsey’s Blue Kitchen Cabinets Are Perfectly Coastal Cool

Since making the mass migration into our homes early last year, we’ve had the pleasure of seeing the insides of favorite celebrities’ houses up close. And after falling hard for her “book nook,” you can now fawn over Angela Kinsey’s coastal blue kitchen cabinets.

Much of Kinsey’s Instagram content has come from inside her kitchen since March of last year. Whether she’s showing off her healthy snacks, sharing how to make a favorite recipe from her childhood, or just goofing around with her kids, Kinsey’s blue cabinetry has played backdrop to several posts in the past few months.

Not only is Kinsey’s cabinet color swoon-worthy, but it’s also extremely sentimental for the former star of “The Office”. Kinsey replied to a fan on Twitter who complimented her cabinetry in May 2020 and said that she channeled her grandmother when designing her kitchen. 

“My Grandmother’s kitchen was this color and some of my favorite childhood memories were in her kitchen,” Kinsey wrote. “I wanted the same color in my home to remember her.”

Depending on the lighting in the photos shared, Kinsey’s cabinetry reads somewhere between misty gray-blue (something like “Summer Friday” from Clare) and a cottagey teal (like Benjamin Moore’s “Fairy Tale Blue”). 

Although she hasn’t disclosed to fans what the color on her kitchen cabinets is (perhaps it was a color match from her grandmother’s OG cabinetry), her coastal cottage vibe is definitely sparking inspiration in the hearts of color lovers everywhere.
