Anthroplogie’s Latest Collab Has Us Ready to Get Cozy For Fall

I can’t be the only one who is officially over this heat and ready for the cool breezes and cozy fabrics of fall. Even if you’re grasping onto summer with both hands, there’s still so much to love about Anthropologie’s latest collection—a collaboration with Welsh designer Bethan Gray.

“I am often inspired by cultural references and the patterns and forms found in nature,” says Bethan Gray. “I also work with natural materials – there’s something about the way they feel to the touch that just can’t be replicated.”

Indeed, the collection is rife with feather motifs, and we’re not complaining. The coffee table and bar cabinet (which also comes in a dreamy mint hue) are “inspired by the role that feathers play in cultures all over the world from Pakistan to Polynesia to the Prince of Wales’ heraldic badge.”

The channel-tufted velvet upholstery on the bed and accent chairs is not only reminiscent of seashells, but also lady fingers wrapped around a charlotte russe cake (maybe I’m watching too many Great British Bake Off reruns).

For something a little more graphic, there’s a bold zigzag pattern on the Strike side tables and dining chairs, and on the buffet, it’s rendered in gold.

“Design and creativity are values at the very core of our brand so working with an artist such as Bethan is a natural fit. We are excited to realize her designs and bring them into the Anthropologie world,” says Andrew Carnie, Anthropologie Group co-president.

The collection is rounded out by some marbled desk accessories, some geometric mirrors, and a Carrara marble topped dining table. The 14 products range in price from $38 to $2,798.

Bethan Gray x Anthropologie is available starting today, July 27, and will be featured in Anthropologie’s fall look book.
