New technology isn't always about making something new. Sometimes, you get what you've always got—but its been made way easier. Like streaming music all over the house with a free-hanging computer dongle.

Two identical USB dongles from Aperion Audio's Home Audio Link System broadcast streaming music to blast your tunes from your computer to anywhere in your place.

Connect the "send" bit to a computer—or any USB-enabled music plaer—and connect up to three "receive" bits to audio players around the house. The audio transmission is uncompressed, giving you ubiquitous tunes over a completely wireless 2.4GHz bandwidth (No Wi-Fi necessary!).

Aperion is aiming to release a line of speakers and subwoofers with USB ports and built-in receivers—as if this wasn't easy enough!

For now, you can grab a 'starter kit' system of one "send" and one "receive" dongle for $149, plus pick up extra receivers for $70 each.
