Arranging By Color: Over It or Still Love It?

Arranging By Color: Over It or Still Love It?

It's natural to group like items together when arranging and decorating your home, but over the last several years the organizational color train has come to town. Does your bookcase still look like a rainbow of color all sorted out by hue, or has that train left the station?

In my own home I do tend to group sets of colors together. I have a room that revolves around red and blue things and another that's orange and olive. My artwork and accessories tend to sort themselves out in this fashion, but I've never gone on a hunt for say, green home decor for my green room.

Do you love matchy matchy rooms? Are you still sorting your bookcase by ROYGBIV? Are you ready for things to feel a bit more naturally placed throughout your space, or does that sense of like item togetherness give you a boost when it comes to decorating, like you know your're on the right track? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
