Artful Stories Sent to Your Child by Mail

Children love receiving old-fashioned snail mail. And why wouldn't they? It's exciting to open up the mailbox and find that someone has written your very own name on a piece of post mail (before you're old enough to begin receiving bills, that is!).

That's the genious of New York City-based Abe's Peanut. It's a subscription-based collection of stories told through four postcards per month. Each card is created by artists who are paired up with storytellers to create one-of-a-kind pieces that arrive in the mailbox on an almost-weekly basis. Collect each four-card series per month and hang them as artwork in your child's room!

Pictured above are just a few examples from their archives. See more for yourself and subscribe for your child (they're running a special right now of $49.95 for a one-year subscription) at Abe's Peanut.

(Thanks, Jacque!)
