We get all kinds of emails…. Late last night got a great props email from netland and traced the url to see where our commenter was coming from. His url,, turns out to be a great resource for Apartment Therapy, and I spent too much time finding out the true story behind how bad the asbestos fallout was from the World Trade Center’s collapse. The answer is a good one: asbestos contamination was low, not hazardous, and proved very clean-up-able with scrubbing and HEPA vacuuming. The bad news was that Lead contamination was high, and children are the ones particularly vulnerable to this.
