Ashton and Mike’s 1931 bungalow in downtown Greenville, SC has provided them with a very workable canvas, with its high ceilings, nice flow of light, and charming old house feel.

With Mike’s DIY skills and Ashton’s design eye (she has her Masters in architecture, and now has her own design firm), they’ve gradually made their home reflective of their style, which is characterized by the juxtaposition of traditional and modern.

The home has been furnished with a blend of antiques, and budget conscious new additions, from sources like World Market, IKEA, and West Elm. Most of the statement accessories and art have been sourced from Etsy, and much of the art has been created by either Ashton, who loves to paint, or Mike, whose preferred medium is pencil.

Thanks, Ashton!
