AT Art Auction: Drawbridge speaks!

Jan 18, 2007

Drawbridge, the non-profit we selected as the benficiary for the first AT Art auction, wrote us with a message for AT readers:

"We were thoroughly honored and surprised when Lisa at Apartment Therapy first contacted us about their upcoming online art auction benefitting us. As an organization that also recognizes the power of art to change lives, DrawBridge is thrilled about this new partnership." [more after the jump]

Several talented AT readers have donated work for this auction, and we're auctioning off one piece every 3 days thru January. The first piece, Cuddle Up by Rebecca Stees, is live and on the block right now, but for another 2 days only! If you like what you see, bid!-- knowing that all proceeds benefit Drawbridge.

We have been providing art programs for homeless and vulnerable children all over the Bay Area for the past 17 years. We strive to create both a safe, positive environment as well as a supportive community that helps to promote the well being and stability of family. SF Apartment Therapy's generosity will help us spread the word about homelessness as well as bring joy to those children who access our programs. Thank you!"
