A Parisian boutique with an American name, Serendipity is our favorite kids design store in Paris. Founders Elisa de Bartillat and Laurence Simoncini are mothers who have reconciled vintage furniture with contemporary design, offering up one-of-a-kind and limited edition kids furniture with tons of charm. Serendipity offers both restored vintage pieces and original designs, and we love just about everything at their inspiring space in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, starting with these restored vintage iron kids beds.

These beds manage to look cozy, chic and very French -- despite the trendy "love" pillows -- with a sober, subtle color palette that doesn't treat kids like babies.
