This is definitely a clock worthy of Unplggd, mainly because it is always unplugged. That's right, no power is needed for this Marc Newson, Jaeger LeCoultre collabo. While kinetically charged watches and solar powered watches are pretty standard, the Atmos 561 generates power in a different way.

Through changes in temperature. The hermetically sealed crystal container holds a mixture of gas and liquid ethyl chloride. As the temperature goes up and down, the gas inside expands and contracts subsequently winding the spring. One degree of difference between 15 to 30 degrees celsius equals power for 2 days. The clock looks pretty damn hot too.
