I’m so happy to show you the end results of our bedroom makeover! We painted the walls a warm blue with a contrasting dark gray wall. My friend Casey us gave the vintage dresser and moon print last week as we were searching for a piece which worked out so nicely! (I’m a big fan of the moon print!) We decided on basic textiles with a woven burlap window panel and a gold rod. The new rug has a simple pattern I’m sure we’ll be able to use in future rooms too.

We wanted our room to be a peaceful space that felt like a beach hut 🙂 I created a collection of hand painted pillows inspired by the ocean to complete the room. With pastel blues, bright pops of orange and gold, the mid century accents make the room feel finished and calm. Maybe not a beach hut, but it is more relaxing!

I framed a panel of sample fabric for the back wall and love it’s soothing feel! Looks almost like one of those magic eye posters, remember those??

Love our new planter from Cotton Crete. Perfect contrasting element for our vintage wood nightstand. The little dishes are by Kristen Saksa Juan and are perfect for my rings!

The modern chair in the corner is my first chair collaboration with Leslie Webb. I created a line of fabrics inspired by a road trip out west and have two photos from the adventure framed above the bed.

The lamps are from Rave on Vintage and the new bench I picked up at Indre by Design in Houston. I also just ordered geode door knobs for the closets too! I think they’ll be my favorite part and love how the plants bring the outdoors in! Plants are always a solution 🙂
