We mourn for the victims of the Buffalo supermarket shooting, the Laguna Woods church shooting, and those of the Uvalde school tragedy. We also mourn for the thousands of others who have been killed in mass shootings — a daily reality for far too long.

5 of 2019’s Most Viral Moments, as Told by Holiday Trees
The year of our Marie Kondo 2019 was a heck of a year, not to mention the last one of the decade. We’ve had ups, we’ve had downs, and we’ve bonded over a bunch of memes and pop culture. So, like we did in 2018, we decided that we should close it out with a festive touch—by revisiting some of the year’s biggest and most viral moments, as told through mini Christmas trees. Before and After: Watch This ‘Sad Fern’ Transform Into a Thriving Plant
Every week, our resident “plant doctor” Hilton Carter, takes us behind the scenes into his own home jungle to answer questions about plant care and tips. A Letter to Our Community
Dear Readers, You may not realize it, but Apartment Therapy Media is a kind of weird and quirky corner of the internet. We got started back in the good old blog days when you could just roll your thoughts, ideas, and musings down a page, throw in a bad photo or two, and then open up this starkly empty box at the bottom called Comments to see what people would say in return. Over the years, as we added more writers with more perspectives, more readers came along for the ride.

8 of 2018’s Most Viral Moments, as Told by Holiday Trees

The result is a little weird, a little funny, and a little beautiful. Let us know what you think (and what you think we missed) in the comments below.
