Baby Proofing a Flat Screen TV

Baby Proofing a Flat Screen TV

Q: I'm looking for specific tips on how to secure a large flat screen TV that is stationed on a low stand. Our baby just turned one and he is able to climb onto the stand and hold the TV. It's very scary but there aren't a lot of products and information on how to baby proof the ubiquitous flat screen in every home.

Editor: That is scary, Lauren. One idea is to mount the tv on your wall above his reach. We've also come across a few products to help babyproof tvs: anti-tip straps and flat screen locks. Also check out the responses to a similar question about childproofing a television.

Does anyone have experience with these products, know of others or have a different idea for Lauren?
