Back to Cool: Society6 Launches Backpacks

Who else remembers the days of limited back to school backpack options? Sure, you had whatever Disney characters or pop stars that were popular that year, but other than that, your choices were most likely one of a few solid colors and a monogram if you were fancy. But now we have good news: Society6, the online purveyor of products printed with artists’ and designers’ work, has added backpacks as a new product option.

Launched this week, Society6’s standard backpack ($69) has a slot for a 15-inch laptop, padded sides and bottom, and an exterior pocket. Currently, there are over 4,000 designs available in backpack form, so you should have no trouble finding the perfect pack to carry your stuff and show off your style.

It doesn’t seem that long ago that Society6 had just prints, mugs and T-shirts. The site has been expanding its offerings recently, allowing users to showcase their designs on an ever growing number of products in the home category, such as rugs, tapestries, comforters and duvet covers, and bathmats.
