Bacon-Scented Wrapping Paper Is a Now Thing

Hormel Black Label Bacon is releasing limited-edition bacon-scented wrapping paper that both looks and smells like the brand’s Black Label Bacon. The paper print is a photorealistic bacon basket weave and the scent is “mouth-watering,” according to the press release.

But unlike Hormel’s bacon, don’t expect to be able to simply pick up a package of this stuff in the store.

From now until Black Friday, Nov. 26, those interested in getting a whiff of Black Label Bacon Wrapping Paper will have to enter a contest for the chance to get their hands on it. Just enter your name, email, and address before 12 a.m. CT on Nov. 26 and the winner will be selected later that same day.

In addition to the sheets of bacon-scented wrapping paper, the winner will also get gift tags and decorative ribbon, which rapper and cookbook author Coolio has so kindly demonstrated how to use in the above video.

For every completed entry, Hormel Foods will donate $1 to the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program until they hit $10,000. So everyone wins during this giveaway.
