Bamboo Charcoal Deodorizer by Kyoshi Nishio

Bamboo Charcoal Deodorizer by Kyoshi Nishio

We recently told you about 5 ways to control odor in your home. Then we came across this handsome object, a bamboo charcoal cube. Not only is it good looking, but just in case it can be a super discreet deodorant…

The cube is only 2" wide! Hide it in a drawer, closet or your refrigerator or put it on display (no one will know it's not you're newest art find).

The compact air freshner is made of ultra-fine bamboo charcoal and clay mineral powder. According to MoMA, the cube's micro-honeycomb structure amplifies its surface area a hundred-fold for maximum effectiveness. So rather than masking odors the cube absorbes them. The deodorizer can be used in any dry space for up to one year by exposing it to sunlight once a month for six hours to release the absorbed contents. Available at MoMA for $25.
