Bath & Body Works Reveals Its Most Popular Holiday Candles
It’s quite difficult to feel the holiday spirit in a year like 2020, what with the many stressors the year has added. WFH seems extra busy lately, and now you can add (online) holiday shopping into the mix. Although it might not exactly feel like the holidays, there is a chance you can (literally) smell it.
In an interview with Better Homes & Gardens, employees of Bath & Body Works recently revealed what their most popular holiday scented candles are and why. Check out the list below for gift ideas (for yourself or others, no judgement).
Fresh Balsam
It’s no surprise that this three-wick candle is the store’s most popular holiday scent. Made from woodland balsam, crisp eucalyptus, fir branches, cedar wood, and sweet citrus, Fresh Balsam’s aroma brings back childhood memories of unwrapping gifts under a freshly cut tree on Christmas morning.
‘Tis the Season
The second-most popular scent in the collection, ‘Tis the Season, comes in a spicy red container that’s sure to add a pop of color to any room. There’s also a spice to the aroma, with sweet smells to balance it out. The candle contains notes such as rich apples, sweet cinnamon, and cedarwood.
Frosted Cranberry
While other customers like ‘Tis the Season for its strong scent, the rest love Frosted Cranberry for its light aroma. It hits all the notes—having fragrances like iced cranberries, blonde woods, red apple, and tonka bean—and adds a fruity vibe to the holidays.
Winter
Winter captures the essence of the season with notes of white winter woods, pine needles, sparkling clementine, and spiced cloves. One poetic customer described its scent as: “A flurry of snowflakes that blanket the earth; a pine-scented Christmas tree covered in snow; homemade potpourri of clove-studded oranges simmering all through the house; and, a cozy fireplace to keep you warm.”
Winter Candy Apple
And last but not the least, Winter Candy Apple is made from candied apples, crisp pears, and oranges, which give it a cheerful but soothing scent. Both its aroma and cute packaging can make any Scrooge or Grinch feel the spirit of Christmas.
