For many of us, the bathroom is one of the smallest rooms in the house -- if not the smallest. And yet, it is the one that probably needs the most storage. The kids' bath toys alone could fill an entire closet -- so how can we contain everything and still keep it looking tidy and stylish?
We've rounded up a few good ideas that may inspire some organization changes in your bathroom...
• The bathroom in first image is on the CB2 Web site. We love how it is loaded with plenty of ideas. The Cadet Cabinet, $199, provides lots of storage in a narrower cabinet. Perfect for smaller bathrooms that lack closets. Likewise, their Slat Rack, $89, provides a place for EVERYONE to hang their towel to dry with its multitude of racks. And how cute is their idea of putting toilet paper in a giant bowl? It serves as a place for the toilet paper, and also as quirky bathroom decor.
• Consider yourself hitting the bathroom jackpot if you have as much cabinet as the second bathroom seen here. For those of us who are area-challenged, we can borrow the simple idea of just removing almost everything from the counter top. This forces us to put toothbrushes, combs, lotions, etc., away rather than just leaving them out which in turn creates a more organized bathroom. Easy!
• We don't know about your bathroom, but often times ours looks like a salon explosion took place. How is is that hair care tools take up so much space? We've finally tamed the beast with the Komplement baskets from IKEA. Not only were they inexpensive, they are also perfect for under the sink storage and pretty enough to leave in plain sight. And when they are not in use, they easy collapses and folds flat for even better storage.
• Take a tip from one of our Now You See It, Now You Don't winners. This entryway features a wall of hooks and a mirror with hooks. You can never have too many hooks in a bathroom.
What tips do you have more a more organized bathroom, be it furniture, storage or what have you?
