Worth it's Weight...

Form follows function when it comes to bathroom scales...but we've found a few that have exceptional form as well as function.

On a tip from reader Duncan, we checked out the Soehnle line of scales; the Spectra Quattrotronic is pictured on the left. One Amazon.com reviewer notes that you might not be able to tell it in the picture, but the scale is curved and therefore more comfortable to stand on.

Soehnle offers a new scale design to European customers that sure to make it to the States soon: a separate, RF device that communicates with the scale and brings all of the information to eye level.

Another scale that would coordinate with most any decor is the Tanita HD351. The Tanita offers memory functions for up to 4 people, and a 5-star rating after 29 reviews on Amazon.com.

Check out "a researcher's" Listmania for other options that range in price from $17.99 to $129.99. The Soehnle Spectra retails for $37.99 and the Tania for $72.95.
