There are things we can do that can enhance your home life. Sure you can tidy and clean, bake nice things to make it smell nice, but what happens when you need to shut off the water? How about replace a fuse? Here's an easy idea that can save you some serious headache down the road.

Have you ever had an urgent home situation? Maybe you have a leaky faucet that needs to be replaced or a toilet that suddenly won't stop overflowing. How about a power outage or a blown fuse that needs to be replaced?

When unexpected things happen, there's a short panic before acting, but you can remove all worry and doubt of what to do, or even help out repairmen if you're not the handy sort. This simple map marks all the major water shut offs, fuses, power sources and more.

Along with this mega map, it's a great idea to keep important phone numbers at hand. Sure you may have the number for poison control in your phone if you have kids, but what if you don't? Knowing you have one place in your house to go for such information is a good thing. It can be left with house sitters, dog sitters, handymen and more. Check out more details on making your own over at Martha Stewart.
