Beautiful Textile Wall Coverings by Anne Kyyrö Quinn

When we think of interesting wall covering options, wallpaper often comes to mind, or carved wall panels at best. How about 3-dimensional textured felt? Anne Kyyrö Quinn is one of Britain's leading textile designers, and lately she's been producing these beautiful, organically shaped, handmade interior textiles.

Anne Kyyrö Quinn's designs have a very sculputral, organic quality quality. They are cut, sewn and finished by hand, and are made with natural fabrics — typically felt.

Quinn's portfolio consists of eighteen nature inspired designs. In addition to wall coverings and panels, her textiles can be crafted into cushions, throws, table runners or blinds. Quinn even has her own book, Felt Furnishings: 25 Accessories for Contemporary Homes, with step-by-step instructions on how to make your own felt home goods.
