Bed Bath & Beyond’s New Collection Has Everything You Need to Actually Use Your Outdoor Space this Winter
When Pinterest is showing year-over-year gains for “Outdoor Thanksgiving” searches to the tune of 139 percent, you know the holidays are going to look very different. Based on this, today Bed Bath & Beyond is launching a Cozy Backyard Holiday collection. The 33-item strong assortment includes furnishings, decor, and entertaining essentials aimed at safely extending the season outside, from fire pits and heating lamps to festive lighting and only-at-Bed Bath & Beyond dinnerware.
“We’ve pivoted quickly to create our Cozy Backyard Holiday collection, with the help of our Decorist designers, to inspire shoppers to find everything they need to warm-up and cozy-up their outdoor spaces this season,” says Cindy Davis, executive vice president and chief brand officer of Bed Bath & Beyond, in a press release. Outdoor collections are traditionally launched in the late winter or early spring—typically around February or March—but this will help anyone who wants to spend safe, socially-distanced time outdoors with loved ones.
I got an early look at the assortment and picked out a few of my favorite pieces. Some can even be ordered online and picked up curbside if you don’t want to shop indoors or can’t wait for something to ship. Anything on the larger side that’s not available for store pickup, however, I’d suggest you order sooner than later for Thanksgiving and beyond.
Sunnydaze Firebowl Wood Fire Pit
Bigger isn’t always better, especially when it comes to fire pits. Even if you have just a little patch of patio or lawn, you can certainly use this compact, bowl-style steel design to warm up outside once it starts to get dark. It’d make a great anchor piece for an outdoor conversation pit and requires zero install.

Ugg Classic Sherpa Throw Blanket
Trust me: It doesn’t get much cozier than a sherpa blanket. I have the pillow version of this Ugg style, and it has never disappointed me. Without a doubt, this snow white colorway will get dirty outside, but you can easily throw it in the wash in between gatherings.

Sun Joe Fire Joe Wood Burning 35-Inch Cast Stone Fire Pit
