It's true, first impressions are important, both on a first date and when guests visit your home. Yet it's a space that is often neglected. I think we all want to do something more with the foyer, but it's a tricky space — usually not very big, really high traffic and needs to store all our outerwear & footwear. That's a big job for a small space. Check out how Sabrina from Pink Little Notebook tackled the problem in a functional and super stylish way.
How about that transformation! This foyer went from totally average to super stylish and wow. The tiles are definitely the star of the show in this makeover. The shape and concept is modern, but because of the neutral color palette, they're classic and will get lots of mileage. The foyer is a great place to have some fun with color and pattern because it's a small space so it's not a huge commitment and not as overbearing as a whole room.
How about that closet? What a surprise when you open it up and see the happy pop of yellow and the repeating pattern from the tiles crawling up the walls. It's definitely an extra to paint and decorate the inside of your closet but what a great way to start and end your day as you're heading out the door.
