Before & After: Backyard Gate Gets More Glamorous

This wooden gate separates Reddit user Ritius’ mother’s home from her neighbors’ house. When it deteriorated past saving, he set about making her a new one. Rather than just doing the same thing all over again, he attempted something new. See his design, and the final outcome…

Gone is the rotting wood! Now, it’s a metal gate with chevron pattern and glass detail. Ritius sketched out the design, welded everything himself, and installed the pretty new gate on his own.
