Makeover by: Michelle

In the small space that we had to work with we added screen moulding (You can find it in the millwork department at your local hardware store. It comes in lengths of 8′ and runs about $5 for each piece.) to the accent wall to give it subtle texture rather than doing the typical painted stripes. We then added a repurposed sofa table to use as the desk area. A black kitchen chair stands in as our office chair.

The decorating was simple with an industrial flair. Three metal faux eye chart calendars were used to spice up the space and these also will function as a calendar as well. These were hung with jute string.

By repurposing, shopping our house, and thinking outside the box we were able to design a very functional office space for under $100.

Thanks, Michelle!
