Makeover by: Judit
Location: Budapest

The balcony of my 1st floor flat is a mere 2 sq m, and previously it was only used for storage. I got rid of it all at the annual junk-clearing and set out to renovate.

The walls have been repainted a new color, the old glass banister has transformed into a white-glazed fence and astroturf has been placed on the floor. I’ve mounted white curtains for shades and to add a romantic touch to this miniscule space.

Hanging from the ceiling are the solar powered lighting globes, which turn on as the sun goes down. I’ve added lots and lots of colorful plants and lovely scented herbs in pots on shelves, hanging from the ceiling and in window boxes to create a real garden illusion. I’ve done it all by myself, pretty good, huh?

Thanks, Judit!
