I just love Cinderella stories involving second-hand furniture. When I saw this blog entry about scoring a $40 Parsons Desk (usually $349) from my dream source, West Elm, and then making it even better–I was excited. A sander and a coat of paint produces a unique piece of accent furniture!
Naomi Stein of Design Manifest purchased this West Elm Parsons Desk second-hand with a few scratches and dents and turned it into a hot pink creation all her own. In terms of styling, I love the contrast between the bright pink and royal blue walls. Well done!
