We’ve all seen them before: the sort of boring, beige bathrooms that don’t inspire anyone. How do you take a small space and turn it into something stylish without spending a lot of money? Tasha transformed this bathroom space with DIY ideas and fun design details.

From Tasha:

Our powder room BEFORE was beige, boring, and messy. We didn’t even have anywhere to hang a hand towel. In fact, we didn’t even have a hand towel! We were using an old kitchen towel to dry our hands.

On a tight budget, we totally transformed the space by transforming the vanity with paint and concrete for less than $20. We painted the walls and created DIY art. We also cut down our old mirror and framed it out with reclaimed wood (from our old fence) and created a custom concrete inlay. Now, our powder room is one of our favorite rooms in the whole house and we completed the whole makeover for less than $150!

Thank you Tasha! What an impressive transformation for not a lot of money. See more of this makeover plus information on the DIY projects and materials used on Tasha’s blog.
