Despite the kitchen’s laminate counters, sloping floors, drop ceilings, and other quirks, John and Edwaard fell for their home in Columbus’ German Village neighborhood. A seven-month gut renovation followed, and the space is completely transformed:

The extensive renovation, which started in February 2014, included updating the floor and ceiling, replacing the exterior door, installing new IKEA cabinetry and countertops, and moving the stove to the opposite wall. You can see more photos read through the whole renovation process on their blog.
