My room makeover::
We wanted to renovate the bathroom because it was stylistically very outdated (1990’s), and we wanted the space to be more comfortable. My husband and I leave for work at the same time in the morning so every day we would dispute over who would use the bathroom first. That situation helped us to decide that we would need 2 sinks as well as 2 showers. We were looking to make a bathroom with a current design and color aesthetic that we would be able to enjoy for a long time without becoming bored by it. We took lighting into account as an important aspect, which is why all of the walls and furniture are white. It took us a month to design and buy everything, and it took approximately 5 weeks to complete the work.
My makeover advice::
If your room-renovation project is in the house where you live, you’ll have to have a lot of patience. You’ll have to deal with some degree of mess and discomfort throughout the house for a while, but you should just focus on the fact that you’ll love and thoroughly enjoy the room once it’s finished!
What I love most about my new space::
What I love the most is the shower; the space is ample and very comfortable—so much so that I want to take showers all the time. And with the sliding door on the shower we achieved giving the bathroom the final touch we were hoping for.
