Bendy M

We've owned several computer mice throughout our lives and it's amazing how evolved they have come. We remember when all mice were created equal and there wasn't much of a difference between brands &mdash it really came down to either not caring, or choosing the one you wanted based on your favorite color.

Bendy M, designed by Kim Hye-shin, is one of the most innovative and interesting mice we've seen. We can't comment on its functionality because we obviously haven't tried it &mdash but it certainly looks great.

When we first laid eyes on the Bendy M we immediately were transported back to 1993 and the slap bracelets. They were a huge hit in our school and everyone had one. Looking back they were a little obnoxious and somewhat painful to slap on, but, they were still innovative and unique at the time. We can't say for sure, but we're thinking the slap bracelet may have played a role in the design of this mouse.

Basically, the mouse starts off as a flat strip and can be bent into shape. This design would be great for people who travel a lot and enjoy the perks of a mouse and would no longer have to worry about it getting damaged.

We're a little concerned about the functionality for those of us who are on our computers for most of the day. We use our mouse all the time, and we utilize each and every function of it. It appears that the Bendy M might only be helpful for simple tasks such as emailing and browsing the internet.

What do you think of the Bendy M?
