Within the Subports booth at SCOPE, a satellite show that springs up annually around Art Basel in Miami, we found a gorgeous wall featuring wallpapers from three different Brooklyn design houses - all Apartment Therapy favorites. Jill Malek, Grow House Grow, and Eskayel smartly displayed their work in long swathes side by side. The overall impact demanded a closer look at each style.
The common thread between these papers, besides their geographical origins, is a whimsical take on the geometry inherent in the natural world. They are also each committed to using advanced print techniques. Whether it be in texture, color, or pattern, these creations shatter wallpaper's stuffy reputation.
