I haven’t set foot in a Five Below in about 10 years, partially because I didn’t have one near me, and partially because I didn’t know what a treasure trove it was for home decor. But lately, I’ve seen a ton of TikTok videos on Five Below finds, and I found myself itching to go on an affordable shopping spree.

Quick Overview

Why do we love Five Below’s decor section?

FiveBelow has surprisingly chic decor, from wavy wall shelves to all types of decorative baskets and bowls, all starting at just $5.

While Five Below has cornered the market on trendy string lights, little faux plants, and vibey mirrors, it also has a great selection of more minimal items. I love some of their smaller decor pieces, and their storage and organizing section is chock-full of super-affordable bins, baskets, and shelves.

Something else you might not know is that you can order products from Five Below to pick up at your local store or ship them directly to your home, which is good news for the impulse shoppers among us (read: me) who have to put blinders on when entering the store — not that they really help, because I’ve already got a full cart waiting for checkout. With that said, read on for some of our favorite home decor finds at Five Below

$3.25

Storage crates are infinitely useful, but foldable storage crates? Now that’s game-changing. These collapsible storage crates are only $3.25 for the mini version (great for storing makeup and nail polish) and $5.55 for the large version (for bathroom items like sunscreen and dry shampoo), and come in multiple match-anything colorways.

I’ve definitely come across a more expensive version of this candle boat, and my wallet definitely prefers this one. It has two wicks for even burning and, as a bonus, once the candle is finished you can use the solid mango wood bowl for keys, wrapped candies, or matchbooks — even more bang for your five bucks.

You can never have too many wire storage baskets, right? The uses are endless, whether you’re corralling folded T-shirts on your closet shelves or hair products under the bathroom sink, or even storing fresh produce on the kitchen counter, you can’t go wrong with this basket in match-with-anything white or black.

These baskets are a slightly elevated version of the aforementioned wire baskets, thanks to the wood details. The wood base also prevents items from falling through the bottom, so you can store DIY supplies like paint brushes that might otherwise slip through a similar wire basket.

A full side table, for $5.55? Truly, I don’t think it gets better than that. If you’re in a hurry to get a guest room set up (guests coming just two weeks after you moved in?), this side table is the perfect thing. It would also be great as a cocktail table for drinks next to the couch, or between a set of armchairs for setting down your iced coffee.

If you’re into the all-things-wavy trend, this wall shelf is right up your alley. It’s the perfect perch for a small succulent or trailing pothos, and could even act as a low-profile nightstand in bedrooms short on square footage. Your phone and cup of water would be right at home.

This roomy woven bowl is giving interior designer, but for much less. I’d use it on a coffee table to hold a remote, candle, and matches, or put it on an entryway table for keys and mail.

$5.00

In need of a simple, sleek mirror for your vanity? This cordless, light-up mirror looks like one you’d find in higher-end home stores for much more than just $5, and because it’s battery-operated, you can move it to whatever area in your home gets the best light at different times of the day — flawless makeup guaranteed.

I have a similar wall rack next to my front door, as there’s not a ton of space to hang things in our entryway, and it holds keys and lots of hats through the winter and summer. You can, of course, use this rattan wall hook as intended to hold bags, jackets, hats, and more — just be sure to secure it with drywall anchors.

Acrylic shelves are my go-to when displaying items that are showstoppers themselves, and I don’t want the shelf to detract from what’s on it. These cute little clear shelves are just the thing for displaying small handbags, a rainbow collection of nail polish, kids’ books, or a favorite piece of art. They also come in orange or yellow for a pop of neon.

A storage tote with a handle is what your cleaning supplies have been needing. Instead of tossing all your sprays, microfiber cloths, and sponges under the sink, keep them handy and ready to go in a caddy like this one, which looks just as good on the counter as it does behind a door.

If your cabinet or closet shelves are packed, a wall shelf like this can help maximize any empty space. You can even set these side-by-side to create a long shelf for trinkets, planters, and more.
