It’s Officially Cozy Season, and People are Loving this Sherpa Blanket on Amazon

As we head into fall and chilly nights, we’re getting excited about wrapping ourselves up in our favorite cozy blankets, lighting some candles, and hunkering down until April. If you also complain about being cold all the time, have we got the blanket for you. It’s this sherpa fleece throw, and it was recently discovered in Amazon’s Movers & Shakers section. It combines the best of both worlds—one side is a silky smooth fleece while the other is a plush sherpa. As you can probably imagine, it is really, really, ridiculously soft.

With over 4,000 5-star reviews backing it up, this blanket has a whole lot going for it. Not only is it certified Soft with a capital-S, but it comes in 21 colors and patterns, and is just $25.99 for the smaller throw size. If you want it to cover your entire bed (yes please), it can also be purchased in Twin, Queen, and even King sizes, depending on the color. Thanks to the microfiber material, it’s also pretty lightweight and can be cleaned in the washing machine—which is pretty great, considering we want to wear it at all times.

“This blanket. I don’t have words for the love that is this blanket. I thought about writing a love poem to it, but that seemed a bit much,” said one reviewer who instead wrote what could only be described as an essay. But it does have a bit of a poetic ring to it:

“But it needs a warning. You will buy one. You will love it. You will discover it is the softest, warmest, coziest blanket that has ever been made. In the history of blankets, there’s never been a better one. No, really. Not if cozy and soft are your goals, anyway.”

Seriously, this blanket is worth checking out for the reviews alone, many of which read like dramatic fiction. “It’s warm enough to be the only blanket in an Alaskan winter,” wrote one reviewer, who also noted her 13-year-old nephew asked his mother for his own because he loved it so much during a holiday visit. “Now what 13-year-old asks for a blanket unless it’s really remarkable? And that says it all.”

We’re honestly not that surprised, since many reviewers mention coming back to buy more because they really don’t want to share. They’re also buying multiple for various rooms of the house, because there’s nothing more annoying than having to track down your favorite blanket when you’re just trying to relax. Plus, it’s dad-approved.

“I’m a 6’4″, 250-lb. man…a standard size throw doesn’t provided much warmth for me….this 60″x80″ blanket is perfect! It sits on my chair at the ready and everyone knows it’s Dad’s new best friend!” said a review titled “Big Man Nice.”

If you have pets though, you might have another problem on your hands.

“I love the blanket, the only problem is my dog does too. I will be buying a second one so we don’t have to take turns,” confessed one reviewer, who helpfully attached an adorable photo.

“Our black and white pitbull stopped sleeping in our bed and instead expects to be tucked in every night on the couch with her blanket. Getting her out of the bed makes this far and above the greatest purchase,” said another reviewer who, yup, included a picture.
