Our son Nathan turned 8 in January and since the weather is usually cold and wet during that month, we wanted to create a fun indoor party at home for him and his friends to enjoy. Nathan loved the idea of having a carnival theme with games, tickets and prizes!

I started by sending an invitation out via Paperless Post which was nice and easy. On the day of the party, we decorated using custom signs we designed and printed at home. We set up games throughout the house that we either created (soup cans stacked up) or purchased online via Oriental Trading. We kept the snacks simple and went with finger foods like mini corn dogs, popcorn and apples. The kids really enjoyed getting tickets for each game they played and at the end of the party, they got to choose little goodies from small bins that we had set up. The indoor mini carnival was a birthday success! :)

Thanks, Jenn!
