Emily tells us about her daughter's sweet fairy party: We did a homemade fairy princess tea party for my daughter Quinby's third birthday. The party was held in my backyard which was a perfect size for seven little fairy princesses and their mamas.
My husband and I made a wigwam out of bamboo, apple tree branches and scrap metal for the kids to have their tea party in. We also made bubble wands out of chenille pipe cleaners and beads, bubble juice, handmade fairy wands, and clothespin fairy dolls all for decorations and take home gifts.
We served tea sandwiches, fruit salad inside of lemon cups, bread, hummus, and veggie crudites, strawberry and goat cheese bruchetta, salty and sweet roasted chick peas, and coca-cola cupcakes.
Thanks Emily! Readers, enjoy more of Quniby's party on The Handmade Experiment.
