Here's a beautiful mashup party. Thalita shares: Lilla is 2! YEY! I wanted to make a woodland party, but my little girl hit hard on that "princess" phase. So instead, we had a woodland princess party!
We had a budget tighter than last year's, as we just purchased a new old house that needs a total makeover, and because of that I almost gave up on this whole party thing. But then my mom, who lives in California, had a chance to come for Lilla's big day and suddenly all the plans changed!
It was all low cost and homemade with the help of my friends. I did all the sewing and drawing, and made cupcake toppers, the doll, the buntings, the table cloth, and the felt critters. A friend helped me on sculpting lots of mini mushrooms for the faux terrariums, which turned out so cute!
I baked all the cupcakes and the big cake. My sister-in-law made the popcakes and another friend the chocolate lollipops. My mom-in-law made all the "brigadeiros", a traditional kid's party candy here in Brazil. And my talented friends from Doce Deleite took the pictures.
It was a day full of love! Lilla had a blast and played with her friends all the afternoon.
And we were so happy to see our little girl, getting so big, enjoying her big day! We thank God for blessing our little family so much!
Thanks Thalita! Readers, see more of Lilla's party on Thalita's blog.
