Peel and stick vinyl tile has been around for a long time, but you might be surprised to find that it’s suddenly available in a huge variety of colors and patterns, many of which are designed to mimic much more expensive flooring choices, like travertine and cement tile. This is great news for anyone on a budget, because vinyl tile floor are especially budget-friendly — and also easy to install all by yourself.
Most of these tiles are just thin pieces of vinyl, designed to be stuck on on top of existing floors (or onto a plywood subfloor), but some thicker styles are groutable, for an even more authentic look.
